Dear Members of the St. Paul CommunityPosted by Star Saenz at 10/19/2016
Dear Members of the St. Paul Community,
In the past few months the energy and excitement around the auxiliary gym construction site has continued to expand. Now with the site in full construction mode and with the frame nearly assembled we are all anxiously awaiting the next steps. In the weeks ahead you will see additional foundation being poured that will provide the base for the music room, team rooms and mechanical room. The exterior walls will begin to go up and additional work will be done on the plumbing and wiring components of the structure. Near the end of October the trusses and door frames will arrive and the exterior of the building will take on its final shape. There is much work to be done on the interior of the gym once the exterior frame has been completed. We are still planning on a late February completion date and I look forward to the time when we can share the completed project with the community. As always, thank you for your continued support of the great staff students and parents that help make the St Paul school district a great place to learn and work.

Demolition of the bus barn makes way for the new auxiliary gymPosted by Star Saenz at 6/14/2016
Dear St Paul Community members:
You may have noticed that the old bus barn structure has been demolished in order to make room for the construction of the new auxiliary gym. This past week the structure was taken down and removed in a single day and we are excited to begin site preparation for the new facility in the coming weeks. I am excited to announce that we have contracted with Andy Medcalf Construction Company from Salem to complete the work. The selection was made utilizing the projects community advisory group to pre-qualify a list of contractors from which the final selection was made.
The framework for the new structure is scheduled to be constructed in late July so keep watching for more updates and information on our web page. The renovation of the locker rooms in the high school is entering into the final phases of the permitting process and work should begin on that project in the coming weeks as well. Special thanks to Star Saenz for capturing the demolition on camera and for posting this and other information on our districts web page. The photos do a great job of covering the demolition form start to finish.
Have a great start to your summer and keep watching our website for updates to the projects.
