John Coleman, a lifelong member of the St. Paul Community, has been a tireless and dedicated supporter of the St. Paul Schools and has been an avid fan of the Buckaroo sports programs.
John graduated from St. Paul High School in 1956, having participated in football, basketball, baseball, and track and field. He was also active in many clubs and activities and served as the Student Body President.
After graduation, John worked on his family’s farm and later married his wife Kathleen. Together they have four children who all attended St. Paul High School. John rarely if ever missed a Buckaroo game that his children were playing in and he played a key role in helping to revive a long dormant baseball program in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was a strong voice for Buckaroo sports as a member of the St. Paul School District board of directors for over 20 years. You can still see John at most home games and even some away games cheering on the Buckaroos.
