Degrees and Certifications:
B.S. in Sociology Master of Arts in Teaching
I was born and raised in Ontario, Oregon and graduated from Ontario High School in 1998. I then attended college at the University of Oregon where I received a B.S. degree in Sociology. After college I worked for the Oregon Department of Human Services as a social worker. It was there where I discovered my passion to work with kids and become a teacher. I received my Masters in Arts and Teaching in 2008 from Concordia University and began working at St. Paul Middle/High School in 2009. I now teach high school social studies and coach football for the Buckaroos. I currently live in Salem with my wife Mindy and our two children, Mac and Tatum. In my spare time I enjoy, golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with my family.
