Hi my name is Justin Whitlock. I was born and raised in Wyoming where I attended Meeteetse Elementary K-6 and Midwest Schools 7-12. While in Meeteetse and Midwest I was raised on ranches and even had the opportunity to have a book written about me as a young man growing up on a legendary cattle ranch. Throughout high school I was very active with extracurricular activities such as varsity football, basketball, golf, and FFA. Directly out of high school I attended Casper College in Casper, WY and then transferred to Black Hills State University located in Spearfish, South Dakota, where I obtained my bachelors degree in K-12 physical education and health along with a coaching minor. Shortly after receiving my degree I worked at the largest open surface coal mine as a tire technician for large mining equipment. I started teaching at my alma mater after 1 year as a tire technician where I taught 7-12 physical education, and health. I was the head varsity boys basketball coach for 3 years, assistant varsity girls basketball coach 1 year, head varsity track & field coach for 4 years and also coached 3 years of middle school basketball.
Shortly before moving to Oregon, I obtained my Masters degree in educational administration. In July 2015, I moved to Oregon with my wife Hannah and son Ashton. I am thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic and unique school and excited to watch students grow in a variety of areas. I also accepted the position coaching middle school football. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking.
