State law now requires a child who is 7 years of age or younger to have a dental screening before entering school for the first time. HB 2972 (2015) We will collect the Dental Screening Certificate Form at the Registration of a new Kindergarten student entering school for the first time.

Sealant screening happens in the spring for our K - 8th grade student. If a student needs any sealants they will seal the tooth at the screening time for FREE. This is a great program that is offered to our students and is a wonderful school based dental prevention program.

The school-based fluoride RINSE program is offered all year long to our students for free. This is another wonderful program that is offered from the state to our students 1st - 6th grade. School fluoride programs reduce cavities by 20-35% for the students that participate.

Vision screenings are done in the fall with a digital spot vision screener. Please click on the link below for more information about the Lions Club vision screening program.
