BUS BARN DEMOLITION

Dear St. Paul Community members:

You may have noticed that the old bus barn structure has been demolished in order to make room for the construction of the new auxiliary gym. This past week the structure was taken down and removed in a single day and we are excited to begin site preparation for the new facility in the coming weeks. I am excited to announce that we have contracted with Andy Medcalf Construction Company from Salem to complete the work. The selection was made utilizing the project's community advisory group to pre-qualify a list of contractors from which the final selection was made.

The framework for the new structure is scheduled to be constructed in late July so keep watching for more updates and information on our web page. The renovation of the locker rooms in the high school is entering into the final phases of the permitting process and work should begin on that project in the coming weeks as well. Special thanks to Star Saenz for capturing the demolition on camera and for posting this and other information on our district's web page. The photos do a great job of covering the demolition from start to finish.

Have a great start to your summer and keep watching our website for updates to the projects.

Sincerely,

Joseph Wehrli
