The district recognizes that tobacco may create a health hazard for nonusers as well as users. In order to protect the health of students, staff and the general public, provide a healthy working environment and promote good health for students and staff alike, tobacco use shall be prohibited on all district property, in district-owned, rented or leased vehicles or otherwise while on duty (e.g., to, from or at district-related activities).
Tobacco use prohibited signs will be posted in appropriate locations in all district buildings and on district property.
