Loan of District Equipment
District materials and equipment will be used only for school purposes by district personnel on district properties.
School equipment will be loaned only in exceptional cases (e.g., to public governmental agencies such as city government). When equipment is loaned, a receipt shall be signed by the borrower showing items taken and the time same will be returned.
1. In case of rental or loans, the rentee agrees to restore equipment or facilities to original condition. In the case of destruction or damage of property, the Board shall be the sole judge of the extent of reimbursements required.
2. Office equipment, i.e., photocopiers, computers, typewriter, adding machines, are not to be taken from the building. An exception to this rule will be the use of office equipment by personnel designated by the administration doing school work at home on their own time.
3. Audio-visual equipment will be loaned only in unusual cases.
4. In all cases of public use, equipment shall not be used for private financial gain.
