Dear St. Paul Community,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Troy Fisher to St. Paul school district. He will begin his position as Superintendent/Elementary Principal beginning July 1, 2024. Troy comes to St Paul with a great deal of educational experience. He has served in both small and larger districts in Oregon for 29 years as a teacher and administrator. Dr. Fisher has earned bachelor, masters, and doctoral degrees in Oregon's higher education institutions. Troy was unanimously approved for hire by the St Paul School Board on April 9th. I would like to personally welcome Troy to the St Paul team. He is joining one of the most gifted teams of educators and support staff with which I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Without question he is also getting the opportunity to join a community with outstanding students and parents that truly value and support their schools. There is much work yet to do this spring in preparation for the transition and look forward to working closely with Troy to ensure that the transfer of leadership is as seamless as possible. Troy has already been visible in the community, at sporting events and in our schools. Please join me in welcoming him to the district. Congratulations Troy!
The elementary playground is still under construction. Please help us keep our students safe by avoiding the playground construction area. We will send out an update as soon as it is completed.
