Dear St. Paul Community,
I am writing to inform you that our Seamless Summer lunch program will continue at least through the end of this school year. As beneficiaries of this program, our district is able to provide school lunches free of charge to all registered students in our district. This program provides a critical service to many and is a benefit to us all. As a part of this program, students receive access to one breakfast and one lunch per day. If a student requests additional servings above the daily allocation the district must charge for the extra servings. We will begin charging families for additional servings on December 1, 2021. After that time students requesting additional food beyond the two meal daily allocation will be charged according to the attached price list. We are very excited to be able to continue offering the Seamless summer program and I wanted you to be aware of the possibility of additional food at a reasonable price. Please have a conversation with your student(s) about this opportunity and discuss with them your family plan regarding accessing additional food at a cost.
