Also, they have a crisis and information hotline operating 24 hours a day and can help you with additional resource information and emergency financial assistance. They also offer emotional support to crisis support and suicide intervention services.  

Reading for All!
The Reading for All! Initiative promotes community literacy and supports productive lives by identifying and aligning resources in the Northern Willamette Valley Region. As part of a continuum of efforts supporting regional children, youth and families, Reading for All! mobilizes and engages communities in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties to support literacy, and to encourage reading as a means of facilitating academic and lifelong success. 

A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village
The Gilbert House Children’s Museum is a private nonprofit children’s museum located in downtown Salem’s Riverfront Park. Founded in 1989, Gilbert House Children’s Museum provides innovative and stimulating educational experiences which spark children’s natural curiosity. The Museum’s mission is to “inspire children to learn through creative play.” This is accomplished through fun and challenging exhibits, camps, birthday parties, membership opportunities and outreach programs in the sciences, arts, and humanities. The Museum is composed of three historic houses; the Rockenfield House, Gilbert House and Parrish House.

Oregon WIC Programs
WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. This public health program is designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors in targeted, at-risk populations. Nutrition education is the cornerstone of the WIC Program.
