St. Paul Middle/High School Families, With winter break approaching and the spike of COVID-19 cases at the state and local level, St. Paul Middle School and High School have decided to modify its instructional schedule for the week of December 14-18. During this week teachers will provide “asynchronous” instruction as allowed by the Oregon Department of Education’s Comprehensive Distance Learning Guidelines. This will allow teachers to work from home and self-isolate for two weeks, providing for a healthy holiday for everyone. Asynchronous instruction means that students will not be meeting together at the same time and place (Zoom). Teachers will provide activities and lessons, in advance, that students will complete on their own. Teachers will be available for assistance and guidance for these activities and lessons. Teachers will communicate during the week of December 7-11 how they will provide the lessons and what needs to be turned in to demonstrate learning. It is important the students complete classwork on the assigned day. Attendance will be taken by 3:30 pm for that day’s scheduled classes based on any form of evidence that the student engaged in the class that day. Examples include, but are not limited to, submitted classwork, email, Google Chat, and/or Zoom meeting. Teachers will communicate in advance what will be required to be considered in attendance. We appreciate your understanding during this trying time. Our staff have risen to the challenge and have been working extraordinarily hard to provide the best instruction to our students. Along with our students, our staff have successfully navigated the transition to distance learning, while maintaining a high level of teaching and learning. We continue to be committed to being the best place to learn and grow. Stay healthy, Happy Holidays, and Go Bucks! Patrick Schrader Principal St. Paul Middle School/High School

2020-2021 High School Yearbooks are finally available for purchase! Order yours today! Thank you for your patience! Unlike in past school years, the online payment portal was not up and running in August this year. That means that yearbooks were not available to purchase at registration like they normally are. As of December 1, 2020, however, 2020-2021 yearbooks are now finally available for purchase! Yearbooks can be ordered through the high school office or online through the middle/high school payment portal on the district website (https://or-stpaul.intouchreceipting.com/) for $40 through the end of the school year, and they will be delivered to the school in the Fall of 2021. This year's yearbook will be truly unique! You won't want to miss it! Want a yearbook from every year of high school? While supplies last, 2019-2020 and other older yearbooks may be purchased in the office for $45. Get yours today before we run out!
